I was recently asked to collaborate on a project to help some folks who are veg-curious. We decided to offer a supportive challenge group that would allow people to test the waters by eating vegetarian meals for a week. Whether you’re interested in learning some new recipes, wanting to clean up your diet a little to lose weight or for other health reasons, or whether you’d like to take some steps toward a cruelty free lifestyle, you’re invited to join us! Maybe you don’t care about any of that but you want to do your part to save the planet. You’re invited too!
Maybe you’re already vegetarian or vegan and want to learn more about eating healthfully (cuz we all know that just because potato chips are vegan, it doesn’t make them healthy!) Wherever you are on your journey, hop on board with us. It’s not a lifetime commitment. It’s just a week. Dive in, use our support, lean on the others in the challenge group, and see how it goes!
We’re going to embark on a journey together of plant power. Our goal is to help support anyone that wants to experiment with vegetarian, vegan, and/or plant based eating. There’s no pressure to follow the meal plan to a T. What we’re offering are guidelines and suggestions, tips and tricks. Any steps you take to introduce yourself to a new style of eating, or to “clean up” your diet will be beneficial!
The official challenge will start Monday 10/31, but we’ll start offering resources in the next couple of days so you’ll have access to the plan and the recipes. You’ll probably want to use this weekend to stock your fridge and prep some food for the week.
Best of all, the challenge group and the support is completely free. Please share with your friends or anyone who may be interested!
