This July in Washington, D.C. people will gather for an exciting, enlightening, and invigorating conference. It’s the annual Taking Action for Animals Conference, organized by the Humane Society of the United States. It’s a chance for like minded individuals to get together to learn strategies for making the world a better place.
Learn about animal advocacy, the status of various bills on the national level, and exactly what you can do to make your voice heard. It’s as much for seasoned advocates or interested citizens who want to learn exactly what they can do to make a difference. More than anything, it’s a chance for people like myself to be reminded that I am not alone!
To borrow their sales pitch, whether you’re dedicated to dogs or passionate about pigs, there’s much to be gained from attending this year’s TAFA conference. Don’t delay – the next one won’t come until 2014!
TAFA 2012 to be held July 27-30, 2012, at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park hotel in beautiful Washington, D.C.
